DE Klop BV Assists Mineros S.A. in Conversion of Dredger ‘Apoena’
DE Klop BV successfully provided design services to Mineros for the conversion of their recently acquired dredger, ‘Apoena’.
As part of this project, DE Klop BV implemented several modifications to enhance the operational capabilities of the ‘Apoena’. One of the key changes involved increasing the dredging depth, which is essential for the operation of the dredger. Additionally, the cutting direction of the dredging wheel was modified to further optimize the dredger’s performance. The ‘Apoena’ is now on its way to the mine site for final tests.
