De Klop has successfully completed a range of studies over the past months.
We have worked closely with several port authorities and commercial dredging companies investing in new dredging equipment. For these projects, we carried out production analyses, developed concept designs, and prepared operational cost calculations.
Various types of dredging equipment were considered, including cutter suction dredgers, trailing suction hopper dredgers, and self-discharging barges. Based on the required production capacity, we developed suitable and efficient solutions.
In addition, we supported several parties during the procurement process of equipment, providing independent advice on specifications, performance, and costs.
Alongside these studies, we have also been actively involved in on-site consultancy at our clients’ operations. In this role, we support dredging projects with both practical and strategic dredging advice, ranging from optimizing production processes to selecting and deploying the right equipment under specific conditions. By working closely with on-site operations, we are able to respond directly to challenges and add value in every phase of the project.
De Klop has also carried out several sub-studies into innovative technical solutions in which excavation plays a central role.
Through these projects, we continue to contribute to smart, efficient, and future-proof dredging solutions.
